Our Story
We met in September 2013, whilst Alice was on holiday in Gibraltar and we were introduced through a mutual friend - the wonderful Becca.
An off-the-cuff invite to a Nickelback concert in Liverpool led to a journey of supporting each other through career changes, internships abroad, further studies and a lot of long distance: Liverpool-Reading-London-Gibraltar-Washington D.C.-Edinburgh-India.
We moved into our first home in December 2021 and have not killed each other (yet). 6 months later, Michael finally asked the question - after nearly losing the ring - in our favourite place on earth, Glastonbury Festival.
After a decade together, we are tying the knot and would be delighted if you could join us for our very own Festival of Marriage!

Getting to the festival
Driving
If you decide to drive, there is plenty of free parking on site but please use the postcode SL6 3AD to get the beautiful entrance driveway! If you end up having one too many drinks (highly encouraged), then you are able to leave your car overnight. Please collect them by 10am the following day.
Public Transport
There are regular trains running from London Paddington to Maidenhead (either national rail or the Elizabeth line). It can take between 20-45 minutes.
Once at Maidenhead station, you can either take a short taxi (2 miles), or the number 7 bus.

Additional Information for the Day
Although we love to watch the children laugh and play, this is going to be an adults-only kind of day!
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as you can. There are lots of people we'd like to share our special day with, but we are limited by the numbers of guests we can have in the ceremony hall.

We want all our guests to look great and feel comfortable.. that doesn't mean we can't have some fun with it!
While we expect guests to wear something on the fancy side, you can also let your personal style shine through - think bold colours and fun accessories.
It's a Festival of Marriage after all.
